Forestry Mastication, or Mulching

In a single pass, the vegetation and overgrowth are chewed up at ground level leaving a protective layer of mulch while the topsoil is virtually undisturbed. This layer of mulch will slow any future unwanted growth and the decaying mulch provides the soil beneath with nutrients from the returning biomass.

We utilize very specialized equipment such as the CAT 299D XHP enabling us to work any sized acreage or lot while providing the required power to run various forestry mulching attachments such as the SS ECO Mulcher. Other attachments we may use include a grapple, bucket and the Tramac Rock Breaker.
